As a general dentist, Dr. Murrell focuses on presenting practical and conservative treatment options with a strong emphasis on oral health education and prevention. His love and interest in helping people live a full life with a healthy smile has been a personal goal throughout his career.
Dr. Murrell is active in the community and has served on the Boards of United Way, Sunrise Rotary, and the UW Marshfield/Wood County Foundation. He and his wife, Deb, have two grown children and a black lab named Jackson. Each year he travels to India, where he provides free dental care to the “poorest of the poor” and shares American dental techniques with dental students and interns.
Besides travel, Dr. Murrell enjoys spending time in the northwoods, cross country skiing, golf, gardening, and movies. His patients will tell you that Dr. Murrell is extremely “efficient and 99% on time.” They’ll also share just how comfortable they are and that their appointments go much better than they ever imagined!
Dr. Murrell’s dental care tip: “Floss daily. It’s like an insurance policy with a very low-cost premium.”
